Salza.se is run by very sweet Swedish people who love poi and fire and parties. They make the amazing "Isis Heads" which I personally use for my fire poi. Lots of flame for the weight. They support all the poi and fire events in Sweden and show up to make sure everybody has a good time at other events like the EJC :)
Michelle Bass of Firegrace is a world-medalist baton twirler turned fire dancer. She's based in Tuscon, AZ, USA, and is the dancer is some of our favorite fire photos, from when she visited us in Vancouver in 2005.
Flame Buoyant is the creation of Shireen, half of the Peles Element Duo. She performs and teaches workshops in Portland, Oregon, and travels all over the West to festivals and events. She has contributed a lot to building the fire community in the States.
Sista Firewire is one of the most unique and brilliant performers I've met in my travels. I saw her and Till perform together a number of times over the summer. They both have natural stage presense and they just ooze theatre. They are good. See them. Hire them. Love them.
idioSYNC is a Bristol based performance group run by Steve and Emily, featuring clowning, object manipulation, circus arts, stilts and more. Steve is well known as "2bags" within the poi world, and has been seen on the COL videos, spinning two poi in each hand, one on each foot, and rolling down a street on a skateboard, all at the same time. He gets angry if you call him "tea-bags." His socks are somewhere in Canada.
tirasaru.tk: Tirasaru is a group of performance artists based in Innsbruck, Austria. They were the organizers of Hosch-A-Fur, one of the coolest fire festivals I have ever been to, on the grounds of a castle in the Alps.
Burn Crew Concept: Vive La France! Burn Crew Concept are an association of very talented, creative, and loveable spinners and performers in Paris. Ooh, do they have some talent! I haven't been to France myself, but have hung out with some of them at various festivals around Europe. They also have forums at burncrewconcept.org
