She also played a big role in Nick Woolsey's teaching career, and has given us lots of inspiration for developing good poi lessons whilst not starving. The Temple of Poi offers poi lessons in San Fransisco on most weeknights.

Flame Buoyant is the creation of Shireen, half of the Peles Element Duo. She performs and teaches workshops in Portland, Oregon, and travels all over the West to festivals and events. She has contributed a lot to building the fire community in the States.
