IMG_2027.JPGI'll be in Bali from Febuary 19th to June 1st. First order of priorities is the Bali Spirit Festival, from March 5th - 16th, where I hope to perform, attend workshops in yoga and dance, and enjoy the concerts.

After the festival I will focus on the new videos, the pendants and clothing, keeping my yoga and poi practice going, finishing the new website, putting a little choreography together, upgrading computer skills, arranging opportunities for next summer, and hopefully launching some fun little projects with the brilliant friends who are coming to play. I'll also offer private lessons, which is a great way to learn.

For reference: Bali is a small island in the middle of Indonesia, a country spanning many islands stretching above Australia. Bali has an ancient Hindu culture and the people are very devoted to their incredibly unique way of life. It may be the most beautiful place I have ever seen. You can stay in nice guesthouses for about $10USD/night, and it's often cheapest to get there by first flying to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, and then booking a cheap ticket to Denpasar (in Bali) through airasia.com or jetstar.com.

Play Camp in Thailand

Hi there, this is Nick, writing from Thailand. This isn't really an "event" yet. I've come to Thailnd, and I've been telling other people to join me here, to train, to make videos, to choreograph, etc. I am not organizing anything yet, nor am I committing to anything. I'm on a working holiday, catching up on a mountain of work, but I like playing with other people, and am setting things up to allow this to happen.

So don't come with big expectations. Cool things might happen, or it could be pretty laid back. I'm mostly designating Pai as a good place to hang out and play with toys. Others are coming.

If you want to know more, you can check my Thailand (un)Plan blog post. I'll be unveiling more details via the blog as they come into being. Just contact me if you're serious about coming.

Happy trails!

(hee hee. That was a poi joke)
