NOTE: The Beyond the Basics workshop is FULL. There are still a few spaces in Mastering the Basics. Don't worry we'll come back next year! :)

Nick is coming to Frankfurt to lead a 2-day Mastering the Basics Workshop on the 4th and 5th and a 2-Part Beyond the Basics Workshop on the 6th and 7th (Beyond the Basics is now FULL).

MASTERING THE BASICS (Oct 4th and 5th: Extra classes just announced from 17:30 to 19:30):
This two-part workshop is for those still learning the basics of poi. We will look at the core skills of planes, body movement, and rhythm required to learn poi moves. Although we will learn several moves in the process the real objective is to make sure you know how to keep learning!

For these workshops you must already know at least the forwards 3-beat weave. If you're a complete beginner you can make a pair of poi and follow our online poi beginner series to get started.

BEYOND THE BASICS (Oct 6th and 7th, currently FULL):

The spinners of Bournemouth, UK have invited us to come offer some poi workshops. It's all very last minute and should be a lot of fun. If you're in the southwest of england check out the facebook event page for details. :)

Playpoi team member G joins forces with Thomas "Nevisoul" Johansson to bring you two workshops in Colchester, UK in Unit 19 of Davey Close (see map).  

Beginner to intermediate and intermediate to advanced workshops are running on both Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th July.

Alien Jon and I will be offering poi workshops in England from July 15th to 26th. Jon is one of my favorite poi spinners in the world and has contributed much to the art form. He's an amazing teacher and a great guy and he will inspire you on many levels!

Poi Superhero Alien Jon is touring the west coast, sharing his poi superpowers with all.

Jon has consistently blown our minds with his poi abilities and teaching abilities. Take his classes if you can!

Just in: Natasha of the amazing Poi Pixies in Victoria has invited me over to teach two days of advanced poi workshops, July 26th and 27th, and to perform at the Luminara Lantern Festival on the 26th. The workshops are selling out quick, so BOOK NOW if you want to attend. We're all getting excited about my performance on Saturday night, so please come if you can. It's going to be a very special performance, and a great festival. The more friends in the audience the better! :)

I will be offering advanced poi dancing classes in the park Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout July. We will be playing with different moves and concepts each class. We'll keep the group fairly small so everybody will get individual feedback, and we can break down into sub-groups to focus on individual interests.
