dig into the website

You'll be able to poiticipate in many more ways once you've started digging into the website, especially everything "behind the scenes." Learn about who we are and how it all started, and The Plan.

Playpoi.com is designed to act as an interface between a group of artists (that's us) and the people who like what they're doing (hopefully you). By learning a bit about how playpoi.com works, you'll enjoy your relationship with us all the more.

Comments: Most of the articles and media entries have comments attached, so that visitors can contribute their own thoughts and feedback. If we ever have the manpower, we might even host discussion forums, but for now we're rather send you toour list of websites that host community forums.

Photos and Flickr: Most of our photos are hosted on flickr.com. We have done this because we want to be part of a larger community. Clicking on most photos will take you to its flickr page. From there, you can tag photos and vote for them and leave comments, which raises the profile of poi and playpoi within the flickr community and search engines in general.

The Blog: The dynamic nature of the site makes it easy for Nick and the team to get out there in the world and actually interact with people... or to make new videos effectively and get them out to people. The blog title really sums up the idea: "Poi, and the Search for Intelligent Life."

Poiticipating: The blog is really where it's at, and we've written a little article on why blogs are cool. From there, everything will unroll as long as we keep putting up content you like and you keep checking it out. In the blog we make occasional poiticipate entries, simple little things you can do to help us keep doing what we do. Together we get to watch and influence the evolution of a very interesting art form.
