They are also an amazingly well-run company, a great group of people, and if you click through to them and buy something, we get a percentage of sales! flowtoys.com: Sean and Prisna at flowtoys are wonderful people and good friends friends of mine. They are kinetic toy enthusiasts and their flowlights are currently my favorite LED toys available. Feuershow.de is a German gear shop run by the wonderful Sam and friends. We are very impressed by a few of their products, such as Lycopodium Powder, which is actually the pollen from a flower, Dragon's Tongues, which let you do safe fire-breathing with the Lycopodium, Jelly-Fix Powder, for safe fire sculpture, High Quality Wick-Tape, the Ball-Bearing Swivels that I rave about, their Amazing Pyrofluid and Fire-Toy Fluid (which can be shipped abroad), and the rubber ducks.

spherculism.net is the brainchild of the gifted and loveable Matt Terry, who uses it to foster community, related to poi and other "sphercular" things. At playpoi, we think it&undefined;s a very, very good name for a website, as spherculism can mean so many things. We also like Matt&undefined;s dreadlocks, and nobody else really wibbles.

Oh, and Spherculism has a following of poiple who are very dedicated to getting very fancy with poi.

yogayak.com: The best way to learn yoga on the internet. Jen and Mitchel, the founders of Yogayak, filmed some of their yoga lessons in the Vancouver Poi Studio. They were a huge help with the filming of "The Scales of Poi" and a couple of our inspirational videos.

Templeofpoi.com: Glittergirl (a true poi super-hero) may well be the world's strongest force pushing poi into the public awareness in North America. She also played a big role in Nick Woolsey's teaching career, and has given us lots of inspiration for developing good poi lessons whilst not starving. The Temple of Poi offers poi lessons in San Fransisco on most weeknights.

Poicommunity.com is the wonderful community site run by the amazing Yuta. It offers discussion forums as well as online lessons. Yuta has put a lot of energy into the poi community in Japan, purely from his big-hearted love of poi and people. Check it out.

Salza.se is run by very sweet Swedish people who love poi and fire and parties. They make the amazing "Isis Heads" which I personally use for my fire poi. Lots of flame for the weight. They support all the poi and fire events in Sweden and show up to make sure everybody has a good time at other events like the EJC :)
