Post-retreat Gili adventure!
After the March retreats, we decided it was time for some much-needed r&r, so we rounded up interested parties to charter a boat to the Gilis!
The Gilis are three small islands off the coast of Lombok (just west of Bali), famous for their lack of motorized vehicles. We chose to visit Gili Air, and we found the perfect post- poi retreat headquarters: Tami's Neverland!
The crew at Tami's, composed of three young Javanese siblings and a native Gili woman, greeted us with open arms. They watched with great interest as we played and trained, and a few of them even took up the arts themselves!
We took advantage of the beautiful location to film a few tutorials, some teasers, and a great deal of silliness including "Finding the G Spot on the Beach."
Nick left them with his slackline because Bayu loved it so much. We've heard reports that he's been playing on it daily! Here's to fast friends in beautiful places! May we all find our many versions of Neverland!
