Spark Circus: Helping to make Refugees Smile

Every year my friend Andrea organizes the amazing SPARK Circus project in Thailand. 15-25 flow-arts volunteers gather to bring the awesomeness of flow arts and circus to disadvantaged children, especially those living in the refugee camps in the north. These camps are for people who have fled the current Burmese military government, and their lives are not easy. SPARK makes sure they at least have some games and toys to play with, along with helping them in many other ways. We were able to give them $400USD to help buy clown noses (among other things).

To learn more, visit the SPARK Circus website. And of course get in touch with them if you want to volunteer! Note that if you like the project, but can't go to Thailand, you can send them toys or a donation through paypal.
