This is the performance video from the Adventures in Poi DVD, featuring the music of Delhi 2 Dublin. I saw that some people had ripped it and posted it on youtube so I figured it was better to post it myself! Feb 5th-18th we're offering two weeks of poi retreats with Rob Thorburn as our guest poi teacher and Banyan as our yoga teacher.

March 4th-10th we're offering our first ever beginner poi retreats with Alien Jon as guest poi teacher and Banyan once again for yoga.

March 11th-17th we're partnering with Paul Hughs and Thom Thumb to offer our first ever Flow Empowerment Retreat! If you see poi and flow arts as a way to enter states of bliss, then this may be the retreat for you!

If you can't make those dates, don't worry! Zan and Aurora are offering their own poi retreats from January 22nd-Feb 4th, and Srikanta is offering retreats in both poi and staff from Feb 19th-March 3rd. For details on all these events, visit the La Escuela Del Sol website.

In these videos our friend Srikanta shares his knowledge of acrobatics applied to poi and staff. If you don't know already, Srikanta spent years performing with Cirque Du Soleil! He's been through the best training of any fire performer we know!

Home of Poi has launched their answer to Flowlights: NinjaPoi! Roughly the same cost of a pair of Flowpoi, NinjaPoi have the advantage of a wider range of colors within each poi. They are also brighter than the old flowlights. This looks like true competition for the Flowlights. 

Meanwhile, Flowtoys has their own answer to NinjaPoi: G2 Flowlights! All the new lights have "superbold" mode, which appears to be just as bright as the NinjaPoi. Flowlights have the advantage of being modular. I.e. you can use your flowlights as poi, staffs, or any other toy offered by Flowtoys. 

Both options take rechargeable batteries. We particularly like the way Flowtoys set up their cords, as it's very minimal. Meanwhile we like the fact that NinjaPoi have very accessible buttons. 

Thom Thumb, Ellie Sorokin, and Kyle Ford brought play to Chicago's streets and even do battle to the death with a ninja!  A submission for The Flowtoys Busking Video Competition.
